The info is very valuable, I'm learning so much. I especially appreciate the validation that I'm feeding my dog right. Some years ago, I changed his diet from a relatively expensive kibble to raw meat(top-grade beef mostly). In about a week, people were asking me if I had the same dog - he was much calmer & mellow. Most of my neighbors had been afraid of him, as he had anxiety issues when I adopted him from the humane society, and was quite nippy & tried to attack. Since that time, many of the fearful neighbors(& my landlord) have made friends with him, and he's sweet & loving now. I'm not a dog trainer, and I know it had to be the change in diet. He also enjoys bits of vegetables, mostly organic, like carrots, broccoli & other cole vegetables, pumpkin, etc. I make his treats from a thick steak or roast - sliced thin & dried in my dehydrator. So glad for your Dog Gut Health Summit - thanks! I highly recommend this Summit to ALL dog owners & caretakers & anyone who might be thinking about having a dog!

I enjoyed hearing learning about pet assessments and what treatments are available for muscular/orthopedic injuries. The euthanasia information is important to know as well. Can anyone advise me about a proper orthopedic pet bed? What is the appropriate firmness and material of a mattress? I think every per owner to have this empowerment of knowledge to guide their pets care.

What a great line up and mix of approaches to this subject, yet all in agreement that gut health is key to good health. I particularly enjoyed both the presentation and Q&A with Odette, how amazing is she at taking a tricky and difficult subject matter and explaining it simply and beautifully. I also really enjoyed, and took a lot away from the discussion with Dr Susan Bohrer that I am going to share with people.
