That all these vets have evolved from what they where taught in school , realising that alot of problems are caused by the food, vaccanations and treatments for parasites,and that there is an alternative approch. I really enjoyed the presentation by Michael Shikashio, it was so clear and easy to follow and also Jo Rosie is a great presenter. the presentations by Amanda Gagnon were fascinating because dog woning in Mew York is absolutely 100% different from where i live and she was an excellent presenter. Kelly´s Open Paw program presentation was brilliant because it caontained something for every dog owner to immediately implement. Julie Case´s presentation on Dogs with Jobs was the one that I probably enjoyed most as she showed how positive training could function even with dogs who had extreme reactions- she was an inspiration. So overall I took away from the summit lots of new info and have already been using many of the ideas in my normal life and training with Paddy my Irish Wolfhound- So THANK YOU to the Dunbar Academy and hope you´ll be doing another summit sometime in the future. I have enjoyed the mobility, massage and sadly the end of life talks. My 12 year old gsd's cancer is no longer in remission as of one month ago and the chemo maintenace and pain meds are only doing so much. It's a decision that we will have to make sooner then later despite her wonderful oncologist and all of his staff and their emergency staff's help in treating her cancer these past 14 months. jj. she loves her animals as much as i do.
