Meet Pet Care Expert, Dr. Rebecca Steers

Dr. Rebecca Steers is a veterinarian because she wants to help people be their pets’ heroes! She practices both conventional Western and traditional Chinese veterinary medicine, so you can benefit from her belief that the more tools she has to help her patients, the better.

She has experience in shelters, research, public health, and emergency practice, and she is the founder of an integrated small animal primary care practice in Florida.

Dr. Steers educates on a range of topics, including leadership, mentorship, diversity and inclusion, and a variety of clinical topics, for both her veterinary colleagues and the community as a whole. Some of her favorite moments, however, are the one-on-one conversations she has every day with pet parents and the opportunities to learn more from each other.
