Meet Pet Care Expert, Amanda Gagnon

Amanda Gagnon is an anthrozoologist, dog trainer, and dog behavior consultant. She is the founder and training director of Amanda Gagnon Dog Training, where she teaches group classes, private training sessions, online courses, and apprenticeship programs. Amanda is also co-founder and Chief Training Officer at Gentle Beast, where she develops dog training products, apps, toys, and equipment. She has a masters degree in Anthrozoology. She is certified by the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants.

She is a professional member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers. She developed and carries out training programs for volunteers to support shelter dogs at New York City's Animal Care Centers. She was a founding board member of Muddy Paws Rescue. She is a founder of The Riverside Dog Owner Group. She has been featured on Good Morning America, Inside Edition, Fox and Friends, Good Day Philadelphia, Dogster, Manhattan Sideways, Sirius Radio, Future TV, and more.
