about

Many dog owners are concerned about the harmful ingredients in processed kibble and prefer to offer their pets healthier, more natural options. Since the introduction of kibble, the incidence of food allergies or sensitivities in dogs has skyrocketed. According to a study published in the Journal of Veterinary Dermatology, about 10% of dogs now suffer from these issues, which can lead to serious health problems like skin irritation, digestive disorders, and ear infections. Ignoring these signs can further harm your pet’s health. In fact, the long-term use of processed foods has been linked to an increased risk of chronic diseases, including cancer, due to the presence of toxins and carcinogens.

We understand how overwhelming it can be to learn how to prepare homemade dog food. It can feel helpless when your dog is constantly dealing with digestive problems and allergies related to their food. But did you know that with a few simple strategies, you can ensure your dog gets all the nutrients they need without overdoing it on certain ingredients?

The "In The Kitchen Workshop: Food Therapy Meals for Dogs" is designed specifically for pet owners who are facing these challenges or those who want to start a new diet for their pets. Hosted by Dr. Susan Bohrer, this workshop will provide you with the knowledge and confidence to prepare balanced, therapeutic meals that offer the best holistic nutrition for your dog.

Learning how to recognize pain in my dogs! My girls, a Victorian Bulldog bunny hops on stairs as does my Frenchton. My male Boston Terrier has always held up a paw when he’s walking or running & when mentioned, it’s been brushed aside. So I love the idea to take videos to show the vet because They never see what I see! Thank you! Also my little 15 y/o Boston terrier I had for 14 months just passed from kidney disease/ failure; I Believed he was in pain & this video confirms it. I will be better prepared for vet visits & I’ll be making changes ASAP. Thank you all so much! God bless. I posted the pet summit on my Instagram account for 1,940 followers to have this opportunity. I pray some of them followed through & are watching. I direct messaged some of them.

Everything has been of use. I have gleaned something from every session. Thank you for making this series available to dog owners. I wish I had known about this years ago. I already feed my dog raw food but this has convinced me to try to get friends and family to feed their pets raw food.

I would recomment this summit to any dog or cat owner.

Just very thankful that these outstanding Vets and Nutritionists have shared their expertise so that we are aware of what is going on in the world of the big pet food companies and that we can make the lives of our dogs healthier to thrive not just survive.

Everyone! I have shared the link for these pet summits series within the dog groups that I belong to and hopefully they take it on board and realise how we have all been fooled for so long. If I didn’t know better, I would want to know better ….

As a canine remedial therapist and owner of senior dogs I need this information to navigate their senior years which have been impacted by previous diets and lifestyles. Also to point my clients in the right direction. This information is not readily available from our local vets. Great to hear products being recommended too, by people who really know what they are talking about. My vet would never recommend many of these so now I can have confidence in purchasing treatments for diarrohea and probiotics etc. Thankyou so, so much. All dog owners who want a longer lived, happier dog. Anyone working with dog behaviour also really needs to understand this stuff.
