about

Do you ever wonder what animals would say if they could talk? "Conversations with Animals: From Farm Girl to Pioneering Veterinarian, The Dr. Ava Frick Story" reveals the secrets of understanding and treating animals with respect and compassion. Dr. Ava Frick draws from her early life on a family farm and her extensive career in veterinary medicine to teach us how to establish deeper connections with animals.

"One thing to remember is to talk to the animals. If you do, they will talk back to you. But if you don't talk to the animals, they won't talk back to you, then you won't understand, and when you don't understand you will fear, and when you fear you will destroy the animals, and if you destroy the animals, you will destroy yourself."

This profound quote encapsulates the course's primary goal: to bridge the gap of understanding between humans and animals. Ignorance of interspecies relationships leads to misunderstanding, cruelty, and needless suffering. Dr. Frick explores a variety of healing modalities, from herbal treatments to acupuncture, tailored to the unique needs of individual animals. Break down the walls of anthropocentrism and embark on a journey towards more empathetic and informed animal care.

Seeing Dr Dunbar in action with Wookie was very instructive. I was fascinated by the way these two sentient beings interacted! Communication with (and by) Wookie was evident and pleasing to see. Both beginning and experienced trainers will gain new information.
