I really valued Dr. Dee Blanco's talk on homeopathy. She always makes her ideas and approach accessible, clear and thoughtful and kind in a compact manner. I thought of the kind of pain that is a pain in "neck" my dog can exhibit with her insistence and stubbornness and how to treat that...but setting the joke aside I can see how a remedy can dig deeper into emotional reactions along with physical issues and it is a wonderful way to grasp how mind,body and spirit are not separated in this approach with health. I wonder now about when the trauma was years ago such as being spayed and the animal refers to that place to lick or is the center of the cyclone, and how to approach that in a remedy like Bellis Perennis. It felt like I have to know how to combine several remedies to address the array being displayed by my dog since I can see her with a vaccine dealing with the trauma to the body, then Ledum for the wound itself, and the time after the event is over but her body is reacting deep down to this...

I contact people that have pets and work with animals and I wish the vets in our area would take an interest..so send it to clinics and those that work there and see how much suffering goes on and might want another way to work with the animals or even offer as a suggestion..

I watch a lot of educational Pet Summits like this but the Pet Pain Summit has been wonderful! Thank you so much to everyone who has given their time to educate us. My particular favourite was day 3 and especially Angela Ardolino. She has saved me many weeks of researching everything she taught us in just under 1 hour on CBD & Medicinal Mushrooms. All the speakers have been so lovely and relaxed and down to earth. As a Mum to a 13 year old Labrador it is invaluable information for his future so I can keep him the happy, mischievous man he is! Everyone who has a pet and everyone who works with animals. I don't think it matters how knowledgeable you think you are, there are so many different ideas and opinions to make you think more about your pet & what you can offer them to help them on their journey.
