About the Role:

Pet Summits is looking for a dedicated volunteer(s) to join our team in a Community and Content Support role. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about holistic pet care who is looking to gain experience in online community management and content quality assurance. We also welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds and life stages, including those who are retired.

In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining a positive and engaging atmosphere in our Facebook community and ensuring that our content meets the high standards our audience expects. As a token of our appreciation, you will gain free access to all our premium content.

Responsibilities:

1. Moderating and engaging with our Facebook community, including responding to comments, facilitating discussions, and ensuring adherence to community guidelines.
2. Assisting with the quality control of our videos, website, and written content before publication. This includes checking for errors, ensuring clarity and consistency, and providing feedback for improvement.
3. Collaborating with the broader team to ensure timely and accurate content delivery.
4. Reporting any issues or insights gathered from community interactions to the appropriate team members.
5. Staying updated on our content and events to effectively engage with the community and answer any queries.

Qualifications:

1. A passion for pets and their wellbeing, along with a keen interest in holistic pet care education.
2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong attention to detail.
3. Ability to manage online communities and moderate discussions while maintaining a positive, inclusive environment.
4. Basic understanding of content quality assurance and the willingness to learn more.
5. Ability to work independently and take initiative, while also collaborating effectively with a team.
6. Familiarity with Facebook and other social media platforms.
7. Basic understanding of content management systems and video platforms is a plus, but not required.
