I am working at improving the quality of my and my husbands diet and herbal medicine. It sometimes "scary" to start modifying diets and treating your pet because you don't always know what they are exactly experiencing. This summit helped me feel more confident in where to start. I provide acupressure, Reiki and massage to animals. We are currently having great difficulty being able to get vet appointments. Even our local 24 hour emergency vet hospital is turning people away. One of my clients almost lost her puppy to severe diarrhea and couldn't find a vet to get her in. We all need to have herbs, supplements, foods and other "medicines" available to us when we can't find a vet. The info is very valuable, I'm learning so much. I especially appreciate the validation that I'm feeding my dog right. Some years ago, I changed his diet from a relatively expensive kibble to raw meat(top-grade beef mostly). In about a week, people were asking me if I had the same dog - he was much calmer & mellow. Most of my neighbors had been afraid of him, as he had anxiety issues when I adopted him from the humane society, and was quite nippy & tried to attack. Since that time, many of the fearful neighbors(& my landlord) have made friends with him, and he's sweet & loving now. I'm not a dog trainer, and I know it had to be the change in diet. He also enjoys bits of vegetables, mostly organic, like carrots, broccoli & other cole vegetables, pumpkin, etc. I make his treats from a thick steak or roast - sliced thin & dried in my dehydrator. So glad for your Dog Gut Health Summit - thanks! I highly recommend this Summit to ALL dog owners & caretakers & anyone who might be thinking about having a dog!

I have really enjoyed the Raw Food summit, and all the great guidelines and advice. I've been feeding my two year old poodle/aeredale cross kibble since we got her, but never feel right about it. She's overweight and should have more energy I believe. Now I know it's wise to make this transition! We've already started and she loves the raw chicken wings. I have a lot of beef bones, but am not sure how to get them ground up yet. Thank you so much for all the great information, and giving me the knowledge to get started on RAW food for my girl.

Learning a lot about feeding my senior girl, Washee. She’s a house wolf :) turning 9 years old next month and looks, acts great. I have owned and know her bloodline from rescued wild wolves since 1982. Other than eating grass regularly and often regurgitating it which concerns me because she’s always done it. I want to put her on Whole Foods but haven’t found one we are happy with. She’s on high quality dry kibble and very picky. Washee isn’t pictured, that’s my Sue bloodhound in my profile picture. Sue and I aided in the search for missing persons for ten years. she taught me what I know that led to the creation of Family Disaster Dogs and 4 books that train family dogs to help rescue and find family members after disasters. I love Dr ANdrew Jones and Dr Heidi Lobprise presentations, there are really useful to me. I have two rescue fur babies, one has 5 years and the other is turning 1 today, saturday! The oldest one has a lot of allergies issues and Im not confortable giving her chemical anthistaminics so what Dr. Jones suggest as natural medicines is amazing, the other one loves to it everything (I mean everything), so I really have to teach her to be trustful when I brush her teeths.
